The short version
Snapsquatch has no accounts and asks for no personal information. Your hunt is saved on your own device. Ads on the site are served by Google, which uses cookies to do it.
What stays on your device
The game uses your browser's local storage to remember today's hunt (your answers and the time left on the clock) and whether sound is on or off. This data never leaves your device, and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
What we collect
We don't ask for your name, email address, or any other personal information to play. Like any website, our hosting provider receives standard request information, such as your IP address and browser type, when you load a page.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
To learn more, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.
Fonts
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers to fetch them.
Children
Snapsquatch is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
